From time to time, we see planets in our solar system cross the STEREO A & B view and are seen on the STEREO images. Here we have provided some information on how you can find out if it is a planet you are seeing on STEREO images.
Shown here are the computed positions of various bright planets (out to Saturn) in recent SECCHI beacon images. In some cases, the planets themselves will not show up in the images, either because they're blocked by an occulter, or because that part of the field of view is missing from the image.
